January 2026
New
- Message candidates directly from their profile A new Messages tab on every candidate profile lets recruiters and candidates exchange messages without leaving Atlast — with file attachments, real-time updates, and a full conversation history. Available in English and Spanish.
Fixed
- Agent banner avatar no longer appears behind other elements The avatar in the agents banner on the Command Center was being obscured by overlapping interface elements. It now always appears on top, as intended.
Improved
- More pages work well on mobile and small screens Interview feedback forms, intake form editors, interview plan views, and several other pages now adapt to smaller screens — so you can get things done from your phone or tablet without running into layout issues.
New
- Candidates can now decline an offer with a reason When a candidate declines an offer, they can now select a reason from a dropdown — or write their own — so you get useful context on why they passed. The form handles errors gracefully and is available in English and Spanish.
- British English is now available You can now switch the platform language to British English (en-GB) from your account settings.
Improved
- Offer status is now visible on candidate profiles A new status banner on the candidate profile shows whether an offer has been accepted or declined — including the reason if the candidate declined. No more opening the offer itself to find out where things stand.
Improved
- Offer status visible at a glance Candidate Overview and Profile Progress now show the current offer's status and how long it's been at that stage — so you can see who's waiting on a signed contract without opening the offer.
- Safer offer deletion and discard flows The confirmation dialog when you delete or discard an offer now spells out what's being removed and at which stage, so it's harder to drop the wrong one by accident.
Improved
- Interview feedback summary on the candidates list Each candidate row now shows a summary of evaluator recommendations — so you can see at a glance how interviewers rated a candidate without opening their full profile. Hover over a pill to see which evaluators gave each recommendation.
New
- Live chat support, right in the sidebar A new Help option in the sidebar opens a live chat widget so you can get support without leaving Atlast or switching to another tab.
Improved
- Your recruiter now appears on your application page Candidates can now see who their assigned recruiter is — including their photo, title, and LinkedIn — directly on the application page. No more wondering who to reach out to.
Improved
- AI chat now includes a disclaimer A short disclaimer now appears in the AI chat so you know what to expect from AI-generated responses.
Fixed
- Dark mode colors and table styling are more consistent Several visual inconsistencies in dark mode have been corrected, table rows now highlight more clearly on hover, and active pagination items are easier to spot at a glance.
New
- In-app notifications for key hiring events You'll now receive notifications when a candidate applies to a role, withdraws their application, an interviewer submits a scorecard, or a job goes live on your careers page — so you can stay on top of activity without checking manually.
Fixed
- CV re-scoring now completes reliably In some cases, requesting a re-score on a candidate's CV was not completing as expected. Re-scoring now runs through correctly every time.
New
- Atlas generates intake forms with job context When you ask Atlas to help with an intake form, it now draws on the job description and interview plan that already exist for the role — so the questions it suggests are grounded in what you've already defined, not a generic template.
Improved
- Candidates get notified when rejected or withdrawn Candidates now receive an email when they're rejected from a role or when their withdrawal is confirmed. Any scheduled interviews are automatically cancelled at the same time, and candidates receive a calendar cancellation so nothing is left hanging.
Improved
- Interview emails are clearer and better formatted Notification emails for interview invites, updates, and cancellations — sent to both candidates and interviewers — now use cleaner formatting and more consistent language, making them easier to read at a glance.
Fixed
- Improved access controls across the platform Tightened access controls to improve security across the platform.
New
- Generate a job description from your intake form When a job description is empty, a new Generate from Intake Form button lets you create one directly from an existing intake form — no need to write from scratch or switch between pages.
New
- Candidate Portal is now live Candidates can now sign in to a dedicated portal using a one-time code sent to their email — no account needed. From there, they can view their applications, see upcoming interviews with location and notes, and stay up to date on where they stand.
Improved
- Advance candidates without mandatory evaluations The Application Review and Shortlist Review stages no longer require evaluations before a candidate can move forward — so you can keep your pipeline moving even when formal feedback isn't needed at every step.
New
- Add office addresses to your organization You can now save one or more office addresses in your organization settings. When scheduling an in-person interview, pick the right location from your saved addresses — no more typing it out each time.
Improved
- "Audit Logs" is now called "Activity Logs" The section previously labeled Audit Logs has been renamed to Activity Logs throughout the platform — in titles, filters, permissions, and error messages — in both English and Spanish.
New
- Atlas can write your job descriptions You can now ask Atlas to draft or refine a job description through a natural conversation. Describe the role and Atlas will generate a structured posting — responsibilities, skills, salary range, and more — updating fields as you go.
Improved
- Filter applications by interview stage You can now filter job applications by their current interview stage — making it easier to focus on candidates at a specific point in your pipeline without scrolling past everyone else.
Improved
- Edit your name and email from your profile You can now update your legal name and email address directly from your profile page. Changing your email includes a confirmation step to make sure the update goes through correctly.
Improved
- Invitation emails now arrive in your language Invitation emails are now sent in the recipient's preferred language — so candidates and teammates get onboarding emails in English or Spanish, not just the default.
Fixed
- Improved access controls across the platform Tightened access controls to improve security across the platform.
New
- Send calendar invites when scheduling interviews When you schedule an interview, Atlast can now send a calendar invite to attendees — so everyone has the event in their calendar without any extra steps.
- Set a timezone for your organization You can now configure a default timezone for your organization in settings. Interviews and scheduling will reflect the right local time for your team.
Fixed
- Calendar invite emails now send correctly In some cases, calendar invites sent from Atlast were not delivering as expected. Invite emails now send reliably every time.
Fixed
- Calendar invites update and cancel correctly Changes to scheduled interviews — edits and cancellations — now reliably update in recipients' calendars, instead of occasionally being ignored or processed out of order.
